I am 70 years old and was unable to attend last Sunday’s civil society protest held after Daphne Caruana Galizia’s murder.

However, watching TV on Sunday evening, I stood up for the national anthem and I could not stop tears welling my eyes and my chest heaving when thinking about the prevailing situationin Malta.

I pray that God will infuse our politicians with courage to stand up for Malta in this hour of need.
