Staġun Teatru Malti returns with a production of Simon Bartolo’s new controversial play, Missierna Li X’aktarx Inti Fis-Smewwiet (Our Father, Who Very Well Might Be In Heaven).

Dealing with sexual abuse, this drama is ripped from Maltese headlines and transformed into a fictional theatrical world where Maltese values, traditions and mores are thrown under a spotlight, challenging the audience to, perhaps, rethink and re-evaluate perceptions about love, sex and marriage.

Missierna Li X’aktarx Inti Fis-Smewwiet runs at the Manoel Theatre, Valletta, today and tomorrow at 3 and 8pm. Recommended age is 16+.  Tickets may be obtained at the booking office, on 2124 6389 or online from www.teatrumanoel.com.mt.
