Paramedics rushed to Għajnsielem on Tuesday afternoon after a woman fell off the first-floor balcony of her home. [attach id="666537" size="medium" align="left"]The woman fell off the first-floor balcony.[/attach]

The woman, a 47-year-old, was cleaning when stone balusters forming the balcony’s railing gave way and sent her falling down, sources said. 

A police spokesperson confirmed that officers had been called to Triq Dun Ġużepp Galea Rapa at around 6pm.

They later confirmed that the woman had only been slightly injured in the fall.
