The Attorney General’s office is to work closer with its Palestinian counterpart in the fight against crime, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two offices.

Attorney General Peter Grech and Palestinian Attorney General Ahmad Barak signed the MOU today in Johannesburg, where they are both participating in an annual meeting of the International Association of Prosecutors.

The MOU was announced in a statement issued by the Attorney General’s office. No further details were provided.
