Every Saturday evening More or Less Theatre are staging two new plays in Maltese at different locations around the Maltese islands.

Plays are around 50 minutes long and are being staged one after the other in a double bill. The performance spaces are found around the different communities and will either be in the form of small theatres or large rooms/halls.

Għajn ma Tara by Simone Ellul and directed by Tyrone Grima is about two elderly unmarried sisters who live alone and are unexpectedly visited by their niece who has returned from Sweden following the break-up of her marriage.

As the young Susan (Elaine Saliba Bonnici) attempts to show them how to use a tablet, the three reconnect with each other and old family issues are resolved.

Lizzie Eldridge’s Friefet Bojod, directed by Lee-N Abela tells the story of Josette who lost her son to a drug overdose and wants to plant a tree on the spot in which he died.

However, the land is being developed into a high-rise building by Tony (Toni Busuttil). Will Tony be able to see past his greed and be compassionate, or will Josette be forced to give in to his brutish demands?

The plays are going to the audiences by touring a number of Maltese localities.

Get Your Act Together is being presented at Għargħur Band Club, tomorrow, Gżira primary school on December 7, and Spazju Kreattiv, Valletta on December 8.
