Again this newspaper reports on the mess created by the market at Marsaxlokk, this time about a referendum to decide on the closing time to allow time for clearing up.

In Vittoriosa, there is a market on Sunday mornings, known as a car boot sale but on a much larger scale, and on Tuesday morning there is a normal market on the main road leading to Żabbar. The areas are spotless once the markets are over.

Perhaps the authorities in Marsaxlokk can visit both markets to see how it is done.
