Young construction worker seriously injured

A young construction worker was injured in a fall late on Wednesday afternoon.

The police said an 18-year-old Syrian fell while working on a site at Triq Kanonku Giovanni Dedamenico, in Żejtun. The accident happened at about 7pm.

He was seriously injured.
