Visitors to Gozo are faced with a big message: peace. The people of Gozo wishing peace to those who visit this island.

With the exception of Marsalforn (a little Malta), the island offers quiet and stunning scenery, a sure way of resting the mind and body due to a slower pace of living.

This helps people to be more in touch with themselves, with others, with the transcendent, with God. These are special gifts. Why should they be exchanged for the sake of money?

Of course, richer people may bring to Gozo more peace, as they have brought to Malta. As it is, Gozo attracts the poorer section of our population. Perhaps there is now no place for them in Malta. When Gozo joins the ‘modern world’, where will these poorer people go? They have already started living in caves.
