Every year during Holy Week, the youth section within the Society of St Mary and King George V Band of Mqabba presents a pageant depicting today’s suffering as a reflection on the suffering of the Passion of Christ 2,000 years ago.

Entitled Fejn Hu Alla?! (Where is God?!), this year’s pageant includes biblical characters from the Passsion of Christ, along with modern-day episodes of people passing through various suffering, among them illnesses and also abortion, which takes centre stage.

The pageant is being presented in the subterranean chamber of Palazz Santa Marija, Mqabba parish square today,  and tomorrow from 7pm to midnight and from 9.30am to noon respectively. For more information, visit www.santamarija.com or www.facebook.com/santamarija.
