A 75-year-old man was grievously injured on Sunday in a traffic accident in St Paul’s Bay.

The police said the accident happened in Triq Burmarrad at 10pm.

The victim, who is from Mġarr, was driving a Peugeot Partner when he lost control and crashed into a wall.

He was given first aid by a medical team on site and was then transferred to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.

The police are investigating.
