BRIFFA. On December 28, at Mater Dei Hospital, EDWARD, of Sliema, residing at Ta’ Xbiex, aged 62, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Carmen, née Camilleri, his children Diana and her husband Daniel Camilleri, Debbie and her husband Melvin Atanasio, his sister Laura, widow of Peter Cockill, his brother Alfred and his wife Rose, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.45 p.m. for St John of the Cross parish church, Ta’ Xbiex, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.15 p.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Rosemarie, née Busuttil, his children, Carmen and her husband George Pace, Christine and her husband Gordon Mifsud, Patricia and her partner Michael Sammut, Angele and her husband Martin Caruana, Suzanne and her husband Kevin Magri, Mark and his wife Patricia, his sister Rina Booker, his brother-in-law William Doublet and his sister-in-law Lucy Lupi, together with all his grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
