ABELA. On January 20, at his residence, WISTIN of Żejtun, former deputy prime minister and Honorary President of Żejtun Band Club, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Cathrine, his children Carmelina and her husband Godfrey, Marjohn and his wife Doris, Lycia and her husband Joseph, grandchildren Gerd, Karen, Karl, Mark, Simon, Keith and John, his sister Frans, in-laws and their respective families. The funeral leaves his residence tomorrow at 3.30pm for St Catherine parish church, Żejtun, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 4pm, After, the Żejtun Band will accompany the cortege to St Gregory Cemetery Żejtun for interment in the family grave. BUSUTTIL. On January 19, at Mater Dei Hospital, CHARLES, aged 76, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Helen, née Baldacchino, his son Adrian and his wife AnneMarie, his daughter Martinella, his beloved grandson Jerome, his sisters, in-laws and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30pm for Balluta parish church, St Julian’s, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. LATEO. On January 20, CARMELO, aged 91, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn hs loss his beloved wife Iphigenia, his children Hilda and her husband Ernst, John and his wife Beatrice and Stephanie and her husband Alex, his sister Rita, his grandaughters Valerie, Nadia, Katrina and Chiara, his in-laws, relatives and friends, especially his niece Pauline and her husband Alex. PETTICREW. On January 19, at his residence, RODERICK ANDREW, aged 78, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Antonia, his children Antoinette and her husband Doughi, John and his wife Cathy, David and his wife Gina, nephews and nieces, in-laws, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 9am for Fatima Sanctuary, Guardamangia, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at St Nicholas Cemetery, Siġġiewi.
