Models of military vehicles, aircraft, ships, trains, spacecraft and diecast diorama figures feature in the annual exhibition of the Association of Model Engineers (AME) currently under way in Naxxar. It comes to a close on Sunday.

This year the main display is commemorating the American Royal Airforce.

The engineering section is putting up demonstrations of various steam engines and the trains section is exhibiting some operational layouts.

Members of the association are demonstrating to visitors how to build models.

There are also models of one of the most popular model companies – Airfix – ranging from very old, rare models to present one.

The exhibition is being held at Victory Hall, Oratory Street, Naxxar, daily from 9am to 8pm. It closes on Sunday at 6pm. Admission is free.
