The annual Pharmacy Symposium will be held at the New Anatomy Lecture Room (nALR) in the Biomedical Building at the University of Malta’s Msida campus between tomorrow and Friday.

A new feature during this year’s symposium is the introduction of ‘Buzz’ facilitated sessions intended to bring in an interactive experience with the student group in the audience.

During the symposium, organised by the Department of Pharmacy of the University’s Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, final year doctorate students in pharmacy will present their research dissertations on topics such as the development of novel pharmaceutical care and clinical pharmacy services, access and assessment of innovative therapies and processes that contribute to enhanced patient safety.

Other students at the department will also present their research, projects, dissertations or work-in-progress in the form of presentations or as posters.

The symposium is an opportunity for students, staff and collaborators of the department to meet, network and discuss research programmes. Healthcare professionals and colleagues are invited to attend. For details on the programme visit the website below.
