Angela Bettoni, a Level 9 student at St Martin’s College launched her third book A Mermaid in Two Worlds, at a students’ skills lesson for her peers, at which she was guest speaker.

Bettoni spoke about her life and travels, her love of reading and the books and events that inspire her to write her stories. The lesson ended with a book-signing session.

All the illustrations in her latest book book were drawn by fellow students Franky Attard, Amy Mallia and Nina Zara. Bettoni’s first book, The Adventures of Edmund and Martha, was illustrated by her mother while her second book, More Adventures of Edmund and Martha, was illustrated by her overseas friends from Germany, Italy, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Australia, Jamaica and the UK.

All proceeds from the sale of her latest book will go to the Hands of Hope charity in Sri Lanka that aims to provide facilities to teach life skills to young children with intellectual disabilities.

Her books are available for sale on amazon.co.uk.
