Three 2nd year students at Pembroke Secondary School, which forms part of St Clare College, recently won the Ekoteenz quiz organised by YRE Malta and aired on TVM. The questions of the quiz revolved around sustainable development. Sixteen middle and secondary schools participated in the quiz, which was spread over 13 weeks. The members of the Pembroke school team, made up of Nathan Spiteri Hogan (left), Kyle Borg and Beatrice Mizzi, won a Billow tablet each. Meanwhile, HSBC’s Catch the Drop campaign awarded a €300 cash prize to be used for a water conservation project at the school.
