Young swimmer Amy Micallef (picture) chalked up her first national record last week when swimming the 200m breaststroke in 2:44.32, a remarkable 3.26secs faster than the previous mark. A spate of other fast times by the locals were registered at the FISEC Games which augurs well for this week’s National Championships (July 19-21) at Tal-Qroqq.
