Teams of programmers from all over Malta recently went head-to-head in a challenge of programming mastery in the recently held fifth edition of the annual University ICT Students’ Association programming competition.

This year, the event saw teams from upper secondary schools, University and the IT industry producing their own solution for a task set by one of the University’s lecturers.

The final placings were announced at the prize-giving ceremony held in Villa Bighi.

The winning teams were Dru’s Delirium and Other Coding Antics, comprising of Andrew Said, who topped the students section, and a team of developers from GFI Software consisting of Karl Fenech and Leon Cassar who came first in the industry section.
