Ira Losco and Red Electrick were the big winners at the Malta Music Awards on Sunday.

The great and the good of Malta’s music industry were at the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre in Ta’ Qali to see Ira Losco receive awards for Best Solo Artist, Best Video (Me Luv U Long Time) and Best Album (The Fire).

Red Electrick picked up gongs for Best Band and Best Song (The Runaway), while breakthrough rock band Plan Zero was named Best New Artist.

Junior Eurovision winner Gaia Cauchi was given the International Achievement Award and her voice coach Gillian Attard received the Recognition Award. The show will air on TVM in the coming days.
