Mango will enter the children’s universe by launching its new Mango Kids clothing brand, aimed at children aged three to 12.

The new collection, which enjoys the same brand positioning as Mango, has been created with the same vocation to offer quality fashion at an affordable price.

Planned for autumn/winter 2013, the new children’s line of clothing will include basic and more on-trend garments and also adapt some of the bestsellers from the women’s collection for girls: Mini-Me.

The collection will also include accessories and footwear, as well as underwear.

For this new project, Mango Kids already has its own team of designers responsible for the different product lines (flat weaves, knitwear, T-shirts, jeans and accessories), and is also creating a management and purchasing structure.

Mango Kids will be marketed in 70- to 100-square-metre areas within a selection of around 100 existing Mango stores in Spain, Germany, Andorra, Belgium, France, Finland, Greece, Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey, as well as some independent high-street stores.

The new line will also be available at the Mango European online store.
