One may be under the impression that all sunscreens are healthy. They shield the skin from harmful UV rays, so how could they be unhealthy?
However, there are two kinds of sunscreens – chemical and mineral (physical) sunscreens. Chemical sunscreens penetrate and are absorbed by the skin, whereas mineral sunscreens create a physical barrier and reflect the sun like a mirror to protect exposed skin.
