It’s said that good business is done on a golf course and the Royal Malta Golf Club (RMGC) is proof of just that. The club recently signed a corporate partnership with international online financial services company RTFX Ltd.

RTFX will be officially sponsoring one of the RMGC’s major annual golf tournaments, the Wedgwood trophy. Established in 1991, the Wedgwood trophy is played over two consecutive Saturdays. This year it will be held May 4 and 11.

“We are proud of our corporate partnership with the Royal Malta Golf Club and sponsorship of one of its annual tournaments,” Andrew Zarb Mizzi, executive director at RTFX, said

“We are hopeful that our contribution will assist in the continued development of this sport in Malta.”

Joshua Farrugia, business development manager at the RMGC, thanked RTFX for their support towards golf.

“We are delighted to have established this new partnership with a leader in its field,” Farrugia said. “With the rising popularity of the sport and the continuous need to better our facilities, we are lucky to enjoy the support of businesses in our community.

“RTFX will play an integral role at the RMGC, not only assisting us with the financial backing to develop our 18-hole golf course but also helping to reach out to their clients, encouraging them to take up golf.”

RTFX Ltd is a pioneer in the online foreign exchange market with a history dating back to 1995.
