St Teresa’s Effingham Choir from Surrey Hills near Dorking, the UK, will perform a concert of sacred music Ta’ Pinu Basilica today after High Mass at 6.30pm marking the liturgical feast of St John Paul II. The 45-member female choir, directed by Timothy Caister, will also be animating the Mass, which will be celebrated by Gozo Bishop Mario Grech and broadcast live on TVM2.

The concert, organised by the JP2 Foundation, will be held today after the 6.30pm Mass at Our Lady of Ta’ Pinu Basilica, Għarb. For enquiries, call 9944 1076.
