11 a.m. He receives Chinese Ambassador Zhang Keyuan on a farewell call at San Anton Palace.

11.30 a.m. He receives members of the Tarxien Band Club, which is marking its 150th anniversary, on a courtesy call at at San Anton Palace.

Tuesday

10 a.m. Mrs Abela receives members of the women’s section of the Catholic Action Group of Tarxien parish church on a courtesy call at San Anton Palace to mark Women’s Day.

11 a.m. The President visits the Chef Choice factory in Żabbar.

Noon. Mrs Abela presides over the Malta Community Chest Fund Working Committee at San Anton Palace.

Wednesday

10 a.m. The President visits St Jean Antide School in Gudja.

11 a.m. He visits Tereża Nuzzo School in Marsa.

Thursday

10.30 a.m. The President visits the Malta Council for Science and Technology in Bighi.

Noon. He presents a donation from proceeds of Festa taċ-Ċitru 2012 to Fr Martin Micallef, director, Dar tal-Providenza, at San Anton Palace.

6 p.m. He attends a concelebrated thanksgiving Mass to mark the diamond jubilee of the ordination to the priesthood of Archbishop Emeritus Joseph Mercieca at the Metropolitan Cathedral in Mdina.

6.45 p.m. Mrs Abela visits the Women’s Day Exhibition entitled The Women in Me at Le Meridian Hotel, St Julian’s.

Friday

10 a.m. Mrs Abela attends the naming ceremony of MV Titania at the Valletta Waterfront, Floriana.

10.30 a.m. The President receives opposition leader Joseph Muscat at San Anton Palace.

Noon. He is presented with a publication by Mario Axiaq and members of Qormi Football Club to mark the club’s 50th anniversary, at San Anton Palace.

7 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela inaugurate an exhibition of paintings entitled There is Art in Abstract, by David Curmi, at San Anton Palace.
