Sixty sculptures by Vincent Apap, who passed away in 2003, are currently on show at the Exhibitions Hall, St Francis Square, Victoria.
The majority of sculptures were recently donated to the nation by the Apap family and are being exhibited for the first time.
The exhibition consists of five sections dealing with different aspects of Apap’s works, including portraits, children, the RoyalFamily, sacred art and publicmonuments.
The earliest work on show was produced by the artist when he was 14.
The exhibition also features a number of paper cuttings detailing the commission, production and installation of the work in context.
A book has also been published by Midsea Books to coincide with the exhibition.
The exhibition is open daily bet-ween 8.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. and at weekends between 9 a.m. and noon. It will remain open until July.
