Vodafone Malta has once again been described as the ‘Best Network in Test’ following an independent study by P3 Communications GmbH. The Vodafone mobile network performed the best during a test among all local networks in data services, a category which includes web browsing, file download, file upload and You Tube. The test also proved the superior speech quality of voice service across the islands.

“Access to a fast, reliable service has become an essential part of people’s lives, and here at Vodafone Malta we are proud to be at the forefront in this category,” said Vodafone Malta’s head of technology, Sheila Kavanagh. “What this means to our clients in practical terms is that when using our network, you are definitely getting the fastest download, upload, browsing and YouTube streaming service on your mobile device, no matter where you are. You also get the best quality voice communications and the unmatched reliability of the Vodafone mobile network.”

The testing for the ‘Best Network in Test’ certification was carried out between February 15 and 29 and was organised across all regions of Malta and Gozo in a series of stationary as well as driving tests.

P3 Communications is one of Europe’s leading providers of radio network testing, independent measurements and audits of service quality.

“Vodafone’s consistent confirmation of being ranked as the best mobile network in test during these independent studies over the years is a direct reflection of our commitment to invest in the quality of our network on an ongoing basis. Our customers expect nothing but the best, and this certification once again confirms our deep dedication to ensuring our delivery of the very best,” said Amanda Nelson, CEO for Vodafone Malta.
