Paul Cassar delivered the second lecture in a two-part lecture entitled ‘Friaries and churches of the Augustinians, the Franciscan Minor Conventuals and the Capuchins in Rabat, Gozo: their historic and artistic value’. He focused on some of the main art objects found in their convents and churches. In the first lecture he had given a brief history of how and when each of the three separate communities settled in Gozo. The lectures were held at the Santa Cecilia medieval chapel and supported by Wirt Għawdex.
