The aerobatic team Turkish Stars will not be participating in the Airshow, the organisers said.

The Malta Aviation Society, organisers of the airX Malta International Airshow, said the committee however managed to secure the RAF Red Arrows for both days of the airshow.

This year's event will feature three display teams - the Italian team Frecce Tricolori, the Spanish team Patrulla Aguila and the RAF Red Arrows, all on both days of the event.

The inclusion of the RAF Red Arrows on Saturday replacing the Turkish Stars, means that this year's edition of the airX Malta International Airshow will feature the largest flying display programme ever, the organisers said.
