An Air Malta flight from Paris developed problems in midair with its autopilot and had to return to Orly airport, a passenger said.
The plane, which was scheduled to arrive in Malta at 9.30pm, landed safely in Paris just before 8pm.
An Air Malta spokesman told the Times of Malta that Orly engineers checked the plane and ascertained that it was flightworthy. KM 467 was cleared for departure and set off for Malta around 9.30pm.
