The marriage between JOHN and ANGELA took place on August 30,1970, at the Basilica of St Peter and St Paul, Nadur, officiated by Fr Joseph Camilleri, assisted by Fr Alfred Sciberras and Fr Gregory Grech. Congratulations mum and dad on your 50th wedding anniversary. With all our love, from Lucio and Loretta, Claire and Stefan, and Pierre Paul and grandchildren Luke, Larissa, Amy and Jade. CROCKFORD. On August 28, at Mater Dei Hospital, PAULETTE, née Vidal, aged 94, widow of her beloved Cecil, following a brief period of ill health, passed peacefully away. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her son Patrick and his wife Kathy residing in the UK, Mignon Crockford, widow of her stepson Alfred, and Tony Camilleri, widower of her stepdaughter Terry, née Crockford, nephews and nieces, as well as other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday, September 1, at 8am, and interment will take place in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The family would also like to show their special appreciation to her carers and the friends who looked after her in her final years. Lord grant her eternal rest. The family regret to inform that they are unable to receive visitors.
ZAMMIT. On August 28, at St James Hospital, Sliema, CHRISTINE, of Sliema and residing in Birkirkara, aged 61 years, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Charles, her sons Clayton and his wife Roberta, Duncan and his wife Marija, her beloved grandchildren Luca and Clara, her mother Violet and her mother-in-law Maria, her brother Peter, her in-laws, their respective spouses, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves St James Hospital, Sliema, tomorrow Monday, August 31, at 8.30am for San Ġorg Preca parish church, Swatar, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Marija Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta will be greatly appreciated. The family would like those attending the funeral to wear colourful clothes, not black. Lord grant her eternal rest.

A Mass in memory of JOSEPH NOEL BURLÒ (b. Sliema, Malta 21.12.1947 - d. UK 31.07.2020), who passed away at his home in the UK on July 31, will be celebrated tomorrow, Monday, August 31, 2020, at 7.30pm, at Santa Barbara church, Capuchins Monastery, Kalkara. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
