AZZOPARDI. On August 29, at Mater Dei Hospital, RITCHIE, aged 88, passed on peacefully to join his wife Connie, his son Ian and grandson Matthew. He leaves to mourn his sad loss, his daughter Patricia and her husband Silvio, his son Paul and daughter-in-law Rita, grandchildren Andrew, Debbie and her husband Roderick, Mark and his girlfriend Clare, and great-grandchildren Benjamin and Emily. He will also be dearly missed by his brother John and his sister Elsie residing in Australia, his in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. Funeral service praesente cadavere will be held at the Sanctuary of Sacro Cuor, Sliema, tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1, at 9am. The family would appreciate if instead of flowers, donations on his behalf are made to the Mission Fund in Mosta. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
CACHIA FEARNE. On August 29, MARIA, aged 97, widow of her beloved Emmanuel, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss, her most loving and devoted daughters Doris and husband John Martin Borg and grandchildren David, Rachel, Michael and his wife Lee Ann and Claire, and great grandchildren Alexandra and Edward; and Irene Balani and grandchildren Daniela and her husband Daniel, Simon and his wife Sarah, Karen and her husband Luke, Nikki and her husband Beppe and great grandchildren Adam and Zak.
The funeral leaves Casa Antonia for Annunciation of Our Lady parish church, Balzan, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1, at 8.30am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest. The family would like to show their special appreciation to the staff at Casa Antonia for all their care and dedication.
CROCKFORD. On August 28, at Mater Dei Hospital, PAULETTE, née Vidal, aged 94, widow of her beloved Cecil, following a brief period of ill health, passed peacefully away. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her son Patrick and his wife Kathy residing in the UK, Mignon Crockford, widow of her stepson Alfred, and Tony Camilleri, widower of her stepdaughter Terry, née Crockford, nephews and nieces, as well as other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1, at 8am, and interment will take place in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest. The family would also like to show their special appreciation to her carers and the friends who looked after her in her final years. The family regret to inform that they are unable to receive visitors.
