BORG. On February 8, at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre, JOE, former Mayor of Mellieħa, aged 81, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Janet and Edwin, Christina and Edgar, Pauline and Ronald, Mark and Ritianne, his grandchildren Sarah and Andrea, Luke, Mattei, Beppe and their fiancées, Ganni, Katarina, Miguel and Gabriele, his brothers Charlie, Chris and Ninu, Maria widower of his brother Jimmy, his in-laws and their respective families, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Friday, February 11, at 2.30pm, for Marija Bambina parish church, Mellieħa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm, followed by interment in the grave of La Vittoria Band Club at Sultana tal-Vittorji Cemetery, Mellieħa. No flowers by request but donations to id-Dar tal-Kleru, Birkirkara, and Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
SULLIVAN. On January 19, in Ashford, Kent, KEVIN, widower of Agnes, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his loving daughters, Victoria, and her husband Andrew, Lea and Fiona. His treasured grandchildren Alice and Joe, his dear mother Monica, his brother Trevor and his wife Angela, his sister Marica, wife of Gerrard Vassallo, and Elizabeth. His niece Sarah and his nephews Thomas and Jeremy. His in-laws May, Margaret, Cathy and John, and their respected spouses and family. Mass præsente cadavere will be said on Saturday, February 12, at St Julians parish church, at 10am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. May the Lord grant him eternal rest.
TONNA. On February 8, JOSEPH, of Valletta, of Circolo Gioventu Cattolica, Valletta, aged 90, passed away peacefully. He leaves to mourn his siblings Karmenu, Silvia, Ersilia, Lucia, Anthony, Delina, Anthony, Esther, Mario, Ernest and Paul, their spouses, nephews and nieces, and ex-members of Circolo Gioventu Cattolica. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Friday, February 11, at 9.30am, for St Paul’s Shipwreck church, Valletta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 10am. Lord, grant him eternal peace.
