FENECH. On February 15, at St Catherine’s Home, Attard, LUCY of Gżira, passed away peacefully at the age of 99, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Joan, sons Godfrey and David, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, sister, in-laws, all other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves St Catherine’s Home on Monday, February 18, at 7.45am, for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Gżira, where funeral Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

GALEA. On February 14, at Zammit Clapp Home, SALVINA (Sally) of Sliema, passed away peacefully at the age of 85, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her children Charles and his wife Carol, Josephine and her husband Ruben M. Debono, Catherine Cauchi, her grandchildren Christopher, Claire, Paul, Anne Marie, Nadine and Claudine, their respective spouses and fiancés, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Zammit Clapp Home on Monday, February 18, at 8.30am, for Pembroke parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. POLOTTO. On February 14, DANIELE, aged 70, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Karen Polotto, his children Valeria and Julien Plojoux and their children Thyven and Eleanor; Frederic and Bethania Polotto, Caroline and Sebastien Kettenacker, Jennifer and Charlez Goumaz, Julia and Philippe Dunant; his father-in-law Dr Mario Stilon de Piro; his nieces Laura and her husband Mark Gasan, Sandra and her husband Marc Urpani; all other relatives and friends, including the Risso and the Aeschlimann families. Celebration of Mass will be said on Tuesday, February 19, at 11am, at St Joseph Church at place des Eaux-Vives, Geneva, Switzerland. May the Lord grant him eternal rest. 

RUGGIER. On February 13, Sr TARCISIA, passed away peacefully at the age of 94, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brother Alfred of Canada, widower of Maria, Edgar, widower of Doreen, in-laws, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated today, Saturday, February 16, at 9am, at Our Lady of Loreto church, Pietà, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Ursuline Crèche, Sliema, will be appreciated.

Tomorrow is the 12th anniversary of the death of MONICA BORG COSTANZI. A Mass for the repose of her soul will be said tomorrow, Sunday, February 17, at 11am at the chapel of St Joseph Convent, Blata l-Bajda.

Mass for the repose of the soul of MIRIAM CASSAR, née Pisani, will be said tomorrow, Sunday, February 17, at 6pm, at St John of the Cross parish church, Ta’ Xbiex. The attendance of relatives and friends will be greatly appreciated.

BONELLO – YVONNE, née Pace. 25 years on, sadly missed, forever in our hearts and thoughts. Lovingly remembered by her husband, Richard, her children Annick, Elaine and Edward and their families, other relatives and friends. BOOKER – ALEXANDER. In loving memory of a dear husband, brother, father and grandfather on the fourth anniversary of his demise. Always remembered in our prayers. Lord, grant him eternal rest. A Mass for the repose of his soul will be said today, Saturday, February 16, at 6.30pm at St Julian’s parish church. 

BORG – ROBERT (Robbie) of Floriana. In treasured memory of a dear father, grandfather and great-grandfather, today being the 36th anniversary of his demise. Remembered with unfading love and gratitude by his son George, Antoinette and family.

GOLLCHER – Comm. JAMES G. GOLLCHER. Today being the fifth anniversary of his passing to eternal life. Remembered with so much love, pride and gratitude. “Forever in our hearts you’ll stay, until we meet again some day”. His children Karin and Martin, Karl and Anita, Erika and Marin, Mark and Suzanne, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
