AXIAK. On January 19, VINCENZA of Qormi, residing in San Ġwann, aged 82, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Joseph, her children Mario and his wife Doris and Veronika and her husband Emanuel Darmanin, her grandchildren Bernice and her husband Jeremy Grech, Denil and his fiancée Emma, and Gilbert, her brothers and sisters, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul residence today, Thursday, January 21, at 2.15pm, for Mosta Basilica where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm, followed by interment at Mosta cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar Nazareth, Żejtun, are appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of San Gorg Preca Ward, St Vincent de Paul residence, for their care and dedication. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors.
ELLUL. On Tuesday, January 19, EDDIE, aged 84, passed away peacefully at Mater Dei Hospital. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Connie, his children Josephine and her husband Oliver, Aldo and his wife Maria, his grandchildren Gianni, Krista, Sarah and Luca, his brothers Gino and Leonard and their families, Marion widow of his brother Tarcisio, cousins, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège will leave Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Friday, January 22, at 1.30pm, for Our Lady of Pompei parish church, Marsaxlokk, where Mass praesente cadavere will be held at 2.30pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
LA FERLA. On January 20, at Mater Dei Hospital, MAGGIE née Gatt, widow of Effie, aged 100, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughter Frieda, her grandchildren Michela and Claude Formosa, Jacques and Sarah Hawken, her great grandchildren Raphael and Faye, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Friday, January 22, at 1.15pm for Mellieħa parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 2pm. No flowers by request but donations to id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, would be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
PACE. On January 20, at Mater Dei Hospital, ALFRED, aged 84, of Sliema, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Grace, née Dacoutros, his daughters Sandra, wife of John, and Angela, his six grandchildren Nicola and Ben, Michela and Rob, Krista and Luca, Paul and Hannah, Beppe and Sarah and great grandchild Mia, his in-laws, most especially Peter, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Friday, January 22, at 8.30am for Jesus of Nazareth church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 9am followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Richmond Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest. His family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and Franciscan Fathers who cared and supported him during his time in hospital together with all the carers and wonderful staff at Casa Antonia.

CARUANA – HENRY. Treasured memories of a very dear husband, father and grandfather who went to meet the Risen Lord two years ago today. Fondly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Laura, his sons and spouses Claude and Nisha, Leon and Clara and his adorable grandchildren. A Mass in his remembrance will be said today, at Ta’ L-Ibraġ parish church, at 6.30pm.
CARUANA. In loving memory of MARGUERITE today the fourth anniversary of her death. Fondly remembered by her children, in-laws and grand-children. Eternal rest give unto her, O Lord.
DEMAJO – THOMAS. In memory of a dear husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, on the seventh anniversary of his death. Sadly missed by his wife Tessie, his daughter Apollonia and his sons-in-law, Leonard and Philip, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. May he rest in peace.

His four children Dr Sandro Schembri Adami, LL.D., Graziella, Aldo and Maria Luisa, wife of Marco Astrologo, and his five grandchildren Donna, Kyra, Giulia, Mia and Thomas. Today the 7am, 7.45am, 9.30am and 6.30pm Masses at the Carmelite parish church, Balluta, will all be offered for the repose of his soul. Jesus, Mary, Joseph. Other prayers are solicited.
VELLA. In ever loving memory of THOMAS, today the 37th anniversary of his death.
