Obituaries
BORG. On July 12, at his Balzan residence, Mgr. Prof. VINCENT BORG, aged 92, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sister Connie, his nephews Evander and Hermann-Karl, their wives Annabelle and Maria, his grandniece Eleanor and grandnephews Gavin, Aidan and Marcus, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège will leave St Paul’s church, Birkirkara, tomorrow, Friday, July 15, at 9.30am, for St Helen’s Basilica where Mass præsente cadavere will be concelebrated at 10am, followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Kleru, Birkirkara, would be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
MICALLEF. On July 12, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOE, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his only son, Dunstan, his wife Marylou and his grandchildren Sarah Jane and Kelly Ann; his brothers and sisters; Miriam, Nanette, John, Ino, Doreen, his sister-in-law Censina, widow of his brother Vincent, Frans Degiorgio, widower of his sister Paulette and their respective spouses; his sisters-in-law Lou and Rose, Gina widow of Carol Calleja and Manon, widow of Roger Calleja, nephews and nieces. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Friday, July 15, at 8.15am, for St Gregory’s parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.45am followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

NICOLAS – EDWARD JOHN. Treasured and unforgettable memories of a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, today the 36th anniversary of his demise. Sadly missed by his daughters Amy, Freda and Joanna, and their families. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
PACE. In loving memory of FELICITY, née Sammut, widow of Emmanuel, on the 14th anniversary of her passing away to a better life. Never a day goes by that she is not fondly remembered and missed by her daughter Marthese and her husband Anton Felice, and her treasured granddaughters Camille and Katrina. May the Lord grant her the eternal rest she so much deserves.
