CREMONA. On July 25, JOSEPHINE, née Camilleri, aged 95, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family. She shall be forever loved and cherished by her children Sammy, Tony, Rose, Lilian, Monica and Joseph, their spouses, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, friends and her carer Ilyn Quijada who cared for her for the past five years. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Thursday, July 27, at 7am, for Our Lady of Sorrows parish church, where Mass to celebrate her life will be said at 8am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi will be immensely appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

ELLUL. On July 25, at his residence, JOSEPH (il-Profs), of St Julians, aged 72, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Liz, his children Jonathan and his wife Sephora, Shawn and his wife Victoria, his grandchildren Naomi, Angelica, Sophie, Jack and Kelly, his siblings Tonio and his wife Berta, Victor, widower of Sylvia, Mario, widower of Christine, Aldo and his wife Lorraine, Anna and her husband Tom, his in-laws and their families, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Friday, July 28, at 8.15am, for Our Lady of Good Counsel church, St Julians, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares would be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

FALZON. On July 26, at Balzan Convent, Sr ANTONIA (of the Sisters of Charity), aged 90, passed away peacefully to meet the Risen Lord. She leaves to mourn her loss the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity, her relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated today, Thursday, July 27, at 10am, at the Convent chapel of the Sisters of Charity, Villa Maria Santissima Annunziata, 55, Birbal Street, Balzan. Mass will be followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

PACE BALZAN. On July 25, JOHN PACE BALZAN, MD, FRCS, aged 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his dear wife Nathalie née Schranz, his beloved children Jacqui, Peter and his wife Elania, and his treasured granddaughter Cristina. His brothers Louis, George and his wife Carole, Alfred and Tony. His in-laws Joan Consiglio, Anthony Schranz and Irene Naudi. His nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated today, Thursday, July 27, at 8.30am at St Venera parish church, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

VELLA. On July 23, FRANK of Rabat, aged 65, went to meet the Risen Lord peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his wife Brigitte, his daughter Nadia and her husband Tim, his granddaughter Bonnie, his brother Matthew and his wife Debbie, his niece Nicole, his in-laws Paul and his wife Mona, Joseph, May, Grace and Maria, his nephews Jeremy, James and John, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, July 29, at 7.45am for St Dominic church, Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. May the Lord grant him eternal rest.

BUSUTTIL. In memory of MERCEDES née Zarb, a dearly beloved mother and sister, on the 20th anniversary of her meeting with the Risen Lord. So loved and so missed. David Raphaël, Claire, Anna, Michael and their families.
