ATTARD. On June 21, in Michigan, USA, Chev RENALD ATTARD, COSJ (Jerusalem), aged 92, passed away peacefully. Widower of Carmen née Arnaud, he is deeply mourned by his sons Tony, Jeffrey, Jamie and Robert, his daughters Jennifer, Maureen and Monica, their respective husbands and wives, his 12 grandchildren and his 16 great-grandchildren, his brothers Alex, Eddie, Tony and sister Rose, in-laws, relatives and friends, especially all members of COSJ The Ecumenical Order. The funeral was held on Friday, July 1, in Michigan, USA.
BUHAGIAR. On July 1, at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre, SIMONE passed peacefully away at the age of 56, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband Ray, her daughter Serena and her husband Henri, her grandson Sam, her beloved mother Phyllis, her parents-in-law Anthony and Luisa, her brothers and sisters Sonya and her husband Frederick, Ivan, Glorianne and her partner Mike, Steve, husband of her late sister Sabrina, her nephews Duncan and Kai, her devoted Aunty and godmother Helen, her in-laws Margaret and Roderick, Mariella and Richard and their children, other relatives and numerous friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday, July 5 at 9am for St Francis parish church, Qawra, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Ħniena Divina Cemetery, St Paul’s Bay. Donations to Puttinu Cares will be collected at the mass. Lord grant her eternal rest.
CAMILLERI. On June 22, Fr RAYMOND CAMILLERI, OFM, aged 73, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church in Cyprus. He leaves to mourn his loss his brother Bishop Robert Camilleri, OFM, his Franciscan brothers, his sister Sr Adele Camilleri, OP, his siblings and their families, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday, July 6 at 8am, for the Franciscan church, Ħamrun, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the chapel of the Franciscan Province at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to charitable institutions on his behalf would be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
THEWMA – On July 2, at SAMOC, Mater Dei Hospital, VICTOR passed peacefully away. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his wife Alison née Calleja, his sons Luke and Wayne, his brothers Josie and Anton, his sister Marisa, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège will leave Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow Monday, July 4 at 9.30am for St Helen Basilica, Birkirkara, where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 10am, followed by interment at Għargħur cemetery. Dear Lord, grant him eternal rest. Heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all the nursing and medical staff at the SAMOC Haematology Ward.
Requiem Mass
On June 7, VIOLET BEZZINA WETTINGER went to meet the risen Lord. A trigesima die Mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at MSSP Oratory church, Birkirkara, on Thursday, July 7, at 7pm.

Deeply missed by his wife Rose, his son Mark and wife Alessandra and grandson Sergio. A Mass for the repose of his soul will be offered today at the Metropolitan Cathedral, Mdina, at 6pm. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
JONES – CHRISTOPHER NEIL. Remembering with much love and fond memories our dearest nephew on the 24th anniversary of his passing away, close to his 18th birthday. Deeply missed by Martin and Petrina, Rosanne, Myra and cousins.
MIZZI – MABEL, 1958. A devoted mother lovingly remembered. Sophie.

So sadly missed by her children Sandro, Liliana, Renato, their spouses and grandchildren. Lord, grant her eternal rest. Today’s 11.30am Mass at Jesus of Nazareth parish church, Sliema, is being offered for the repose of her soul.
