ALAMANGO. On March 15, NAZZARENO known as Żaren, widower of Maria Victoria, of Floriana aged 83 passed peacefully away at his residence, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children, Tony and his wife Anna, Marthese and her husband Raymond, Doreen and her husband Tonio, Mark and his wife Tiziana, his grandchildren Christine, Jessica, Marie-Claire, Jeanette and her husband Ramon, John, Cinzia, Gianluca, Jade, his great-grandchild Martina, his brother Ġanni, in-laws and their respective families, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, March 18, at 8.15am for St Publius church, Floriana, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by internment in the family grave at Santa Marija Addolorata Cemetery. BARBARA. On March 15, MARY CONCETTA of Żabbar aged 92 passed peacefully away at Mater Dei Hospital comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sisters Carmen, widow of Vince, Anne widow of Tony, her brother Tony and his wife Phyllis, her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday, March 20 at 2.45pm for the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Grace, Żabbar, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm, followed by internment in the family grave at Żabbar cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Radju Marija will be greatly appreciated. Lord grant her eternal rest.
FARRUGIA. On March 16, LOUIS, ex-warrant officer II in the Armed Forces of Malta, of Lija and residing in Dingli, aged 66, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife Rita, his daughter Mandy and her partner Noel, his brothers and sisters, his in-laws, their families, all other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital, tomorrow, March 18 at 2pm for the parish church of the Assumption of Our Lady, in Dingli, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment at the Dingli cemetery. SALIBA. On March 15 at Mater Dei Hospital, SAVIOUR, first mayor of Żurrieq, aged 64, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his brothers and sisters, in-laws, nephews and nieces, many other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, March 18 at 7.15am for St Catherine’s parish church Żurrieq where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 7.45am followed by interment at St Leo’s cemetery Żurrieq. Donations to the nuns of the Sacred Heart in Nigret, Żurrieq will be appreciated. The family would like to thank the Renal Unit at Mater Dei Hospital. Lord grant him eternal rest.
