DALMAS. On February 28, at home, surrounded by his loved ones, CHARLES, aged 94, passed away peacefully. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his wife Beatrice, née O’Neill, his children Louise and her husband Pierre, Josette, Monica, widow of his son Joseph, Anna and her husband George; his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8am for San Ġwann parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to charitable institutions would be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

DEBATTISTA. On February 28, LOLLY, of Swieqi, aged 77, went to meet the Risen Lord comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Marie née Bianchi, his son Kurt and his wife Anna, his grandchildren Alex and Maya, his brother Alfred and his wife Tanya, his brother-in-law Albert, his in-laws, Alfred and Monica Bianchi, his co-sister-in-law Marga, his nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. The funeral Mass to celebrate his life will be said tomorrow, Friday, March 3, at 9.30am, at Tal-Ibraġ parish church, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, would be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest. Special thanks to his carer Joy and all the staff at Hospice Malta, Balzan and Palliative Care Ward.

MAHONEY. On March 1, JOSEPHINE, aged 81, passed away peacefully at St Vincent de Paul Residence. She will be forever loved by her husband Charles, her daughters Moira and her husband Joseph, Fiona and her husband Mark, her grandchildren Claire, Matthew and Daniela, her in-laws and their families, other relatives and friends. Mass to celebrate her life will be said today, Thursday, March 2, at 8am, at St Mary’s church (old church), Birkirkara, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest. The family would like to express their gratitude for all the help and support they received from all the staff of San Gorg Preca 1 and Madonna ta’ Pinu IV wards.

ZAHRA de DOMENICO – ALFRED, passed away on Monday, February 27, after a prolonged illness which he faced bravely. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife, Victoria née Vassallo Gatt, his sister Victoria, his brother Bernard and his wife Eileen, his nephews Kevin and Peter, and many of his Vassallo Gatt in-laws with whom he enjoyed many family events and occasions over the years. His funeral Mass will be at the Carmelite Balluta church at 8.30am on Saturday, March 4. May his soul find peace in the Lord.

ALDEN. In loving memory of GEORGE, today, the first anniversary of his passing to eternal life. Deeply missed by his wife Eileen, his sons Stephen, Alan, Simon and Julian and their families.
