BORG GRECH. On October 30, at her residence in Birkirkara, LUCIA, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sister Ninette, her brother Joseph and his wife Marcelle, Renzo and his wife Evelyn, her nephews and niece, her grand-nephews and grand- nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves her residence today at 8am for St Joseph the worker parish church, Birkirkara, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Christus Sacerdos Home for the Clergy, Birkirkara, will be greatly appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
MICALLEF. On October 28, at home, MAE ASTRID, passed away peacefully at home, aged 81, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her son Christopher, her daughter Simone and her husband Charles Borg, her grandchildren Jeremy, Justine, and Jacob, her sister Sr Aurora Farrugia, her brothers Renato and Charles, their respective families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Wednesday, November 1 at 8.15am for Sacro Cuor ‒ Our Lady of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Triq San Trofimu, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
VASSALLO. On October 29, at Mater Dei Hospital, LEONE, aged 94, passed away peacefully to meet the Risen Lord, his wife Victoria and son Fr VicGeorge, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his son Noel and his wife Josette, grand-daughter Christabelle and boyfriend Jamie, grandson Andre’, sister Costanza, sister-in-law Giuseppa, widow of his brother Giuseppi, other relatives and friends. Funeral Mass præsente cadavere will be said today, October 31, at 3.30pm, at Siġġiewi parish church. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, would be appreciated. May the Lord grant him eternal rest.
