FARRUGIA. On April 5, at St Vincent de Paul residence, VICTOR (tas-Slais), of Rabat, aged 70, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Antoinette, his children, Magistrate Ian Farrugia and his wife Lyn, Giselle and her husband Brian Baldacchino, Legal Procurator Nadine, and Dr Keith Farrugia and his wife Tracy, his grandchildren Andrew, Julian, Matthew, Jack, Emily and Lily, his brothers and sisters in-law, his wife’s brothers and sisters and their spouses, nephews and nieces, other relatives and numerous friends. The funeral cortège leaves St Vincent de Paul residence tomorrow at 1.30pm for St Dominic’s priory church, Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers, but by request, donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

FENECH. On April 6, at Mater Dei Hospital, INES of Sliema, residing in Fgura, passed away peacefully at the age of 97, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children, Doreen, Joe and his wife Frances, Michael and his wife Marthese, and Maria and her husband John, her grandchildren Joannah, Melanie, Jonathan, Nicola, John, Ryan, Stanley and Andrew, their respective spouses, great-grandchildren, her brother Anthony, all other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.15pm for St Anthony church, Għajn Dwieli, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

PULLICINO. On April 4, at Mater Dei Hospital, FELIĊ, widower of Nazzarena, aged 93, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sons and daughters Karmena, Anthony, Gracie, Joe, Mary, Michael, Rita, Salvu, Lawrence, Raymond, Manuel and Patrick, their res­pective spouses, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 3.30pm for Our Lady of Graces Sanctuary, Żabbar, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 4pm, followed by interment at Żabbar cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

TERRENI. On March 21 in the early hours, at his home in London, ALFRED LESLIE, aged 85, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He will be deeply missed by his wife Ursula, his daughter Melita and her husband Dominic Brown, his son Joe and his wife Gail, his four adoring grand­children Stephanie, Christian, Matthew and Charlie, his sister Bea, as well as his nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law Yvonne and Josephine. Funeral Mass præsente cadavere will be held at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery chapel on Friday, April 8 at 9am.

WILMER. On March 31, at Ipswich Hospital, DOUGLAS (Sherlock Holmes), aged 96. He leaves to miss him his wife, Anne, née Harding, her daughter Katherine and her husband William Ricks and grandchildren Anna and George Ricks, his sister-in-law Jean Arkell and her husband John, and their families and his brother-in-law William Harding. A Mass to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, April 25 at 2pm at St Thomas of Canterbury Catholic church, Woodbridge, followed by cremation. May he rest in peace.

In Memoriam

AGIUS – VALERIE. Ever loving and treasured memories of my dear daughter who was called to the loving arms of Our Lord, 38 years ago, today. Always remembered in our prayers. Mum, Angèle, Simone and Neville.

AZZOPARDI – CARMELINA. On the 15th anniversary of her sad passing away to eternal life, meeting Our Lord whom she had loved so much. Gone from us but very dearly in our daily prayers. All her loving children, Ina, Paul, Emmanuel, Joseph and Alda, together with all her in-laws, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

MIFSUD – MARY, née Montanaro Gauci. In loving memory of our dear mother on the 24th anniversary of her death. Always remembered with love and gratitude by her children Frank, George, Joyce, and grand­children. Eternal rest give unto her, O Lord. Eternal her memory.

REFALO. Cherished memories of ELENA, née Stilon de Piro, a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, called to eternal life 22 years ago. Loved and missed by all her family. Our prayerful thoughts. Her daughter Mariella.

VASSALLO – ANTHONY. Celebrating the 27th anniversary of his birth to eternal life. Always remembered by his wife Gladys, sons Tonio and John and his wife Suzanne.

VASSALLO – JANE, née Camilleri, beloved widow of Emanuel and a devoted mother, on the fourth anniversary of her death. Lovingly remembered and sorely missed by her only daughter Ruth Joan.
