Failed political leader, Simon Busuttil, continues on his Panama and Egrant fixation campaign. He has again gone to court asking for another magisterial inquiry, alleging the authorities do not want to investigate Konrad Mizzi and Keith Schembri. The same allegations have already been turned down by a magistrate and a judge, the latter calling Busuttil’s so-called evidence “speculation”.
Under Busuttil’s leadership, the Nationalist Party created the secret ċedoli scheme that offered the possibility for anyone wishing to hide large amounts of money to ‘invest’ in it and also help the PN. This when Parliament had just passed the party financing law.
