A 41-year-old motorcyclist was injured on Sunday in an accident along the Coast Road in Naxxar.

The accident happened at 8.15am.

The police said the victim, who lives in Gżira, lost control of the Suzuki he was riding and fell, suffering grievous injuries.

The police are investigating.

Another motorcyclist was injured in another accident earlier on Sunday.
