Armed, hooded man holds up shop in Qormi

The thief escaped with cash

A hooded man armed with a knife entered a shop in Qormi and demanded money early on Sunday, making off with a stash of cash.

The police said the theft took place at an establishment in Triq Manwel Dimech at 3am.

No one was injured. An inquiry is being held. The police are investigating.
