A collection of work by artist Mary Attard which ranges from photography and collages to conceptual art, and spans some five decades, aims to raise awareness about the plight of those involved in prostitution.

Held at the SkyParks Business Centre in Luqa, the exhibition, Visible and Invisible Forces, features works of art that attempt to express an array of emotions and insights into the struggles of those working in the sex trade.

Ms Attard, who has organised various exhibitions throughout her career, hopes that those who see her work not only find inspiration through the pieces but also that some assistance will be offered to Dar Hosea.

Part of the proceeds from the sale of art showcased in the exhibition will go to the walk-in centre, which offers a safe place for women sex workers.

The multimedia exhibition opened last week and will run until November 20.
