Atlas sponsors renovation of Chinese garden

Atlas Insurance recently signed a five-year agreement with Santa Lucija council to sponsor the renovation and maintenance of the local Chinese Garden of Serenity.

The agreement was signed by Atlas Insurance PCC Limited chairman Walter Camilleri, and Santa Lucija mayor Frederick Cutajar, during a ceremony in the garden. The Ambassador of the People's Republic of China, Chai Xi, who was also present, pledged his full support to the initiative by committing to the provision of Chinese expertise for the garden's maintenance and embellishment. Under the agreement, Atlas Insurance will facilitate the maintenance and upgrading works in this unique garden. The works also involve the setting up of improved CCTV and security systems and the maintenance of the various structures within the garden.

Mr Camilleri expressed Atlas' delight to be making this contribution to the south of Malta to mark the first anniversary of the opening of its very successful regional office in Valletta Road, Paola.
