Myles Beerman will continue his playing career in Malta for the upcoming season after the young wing back has agreed to join Birkirkara on a season long-loan from Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers.

The Malta wing back, who joined the Glasgow club in 2016 from Manchester City, has struggled for to break into the Scottish club first team and last season he spent the second part of the season on loan at Queen of the South.

This season, Rangers, under the charge of former Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard, had immediately informed the 19-year-old that it would be better for him to go on loan with a club.

Despite having other offers from second division sides in Scotland, Beerman decided to return to Malta and Birkirkara immediately approached him with a view of taking him on loan.

The Stripes reached an agreement with both Rangers and the player who is expected to arrive in Malta in midweek.
