Daniel Bogdanovic has signed a one-year contract with Italian Serie C2 side Cisco Roma. The Malta international striker had been expected to join Foggia in the Serie B but after contract negotiations stalled, Bogdanovic stepped up his efforts to find a new club in Italy.

Bogdanovic, who was instrumental in Marsaxlokk's first-ever Premier League title last season, linked up with Cisco Roma who expressed an interest in taking him on board.

Yesterday, Bogdanovic confirmed to The Times that he has penned a one-year deal with Cisco Roma where he is expected to play in their forward line along with former Lazio star Paolo Di Canio.

Cisco Roma play in the Serie C2 league. They are in Girone C and last weekend lost their match at home against Vibonese 0-1.

After six matches Cisco Roma have six points and are languishing at the bottom places of the league standings.

The current Serie C2 leaders are Benevento with a maximum 18 points. Cisco Roma play Scafatese at home next Sunday.
