Several parts of Malta experienced unseasonal downpour on Wednesday morning and afternoon as well as a drop in temperature.

Although the sun quickly returned in earnest after the first downpour, it quickly hid again when it started pouring again in the afternoon.

In Balzan valley, the downpour led to a large sewage outfall. 

A worried resident expressed concern that with the Covid-19 situation, the situation could be posing a health risk to all who came in contact with the liquid jetting out.
