Busy Naxxar Road, in Birkirkara, will be closed for traffic from Wednesday for much-needed rebuilding.

Infrastructure Malta said the road will be closed until further notice between the corner of Windmill Street and the junction with the Birkirkara bypass.

Traffic will be diverted through Ganu Street and Balzan Valley Road.
